Ugnayan (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Andres Jr. Maron, based in Imus City, Cavite, Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App at ugnayan-ph.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

•Account Information: Your name and email address when you register for an account.

•Content Data: Posts, captions, hashtags, schedules, client names, and other content you create inside the App.

•Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the App. This is collected anonymously via PostHog analytics.

•Payment Information: Payment transactions are processed by PayMongo. We do not store your card details or GCash/Maya account information — these are handled securely by PayMongo.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

•Provide and operate the Ugnayan service
•Process your subscription payments
•Send important account and service notifications
•Improve the App based on usage patterns
•Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Public Pages

Ugnayan generates shareable public links for client schedules and reports (e.g. /schedule/[id] and /report/[id]). These pages display content you have chosen to share. Only scheduled and posted content is visible on these pages — drafts are never shown. Share these links only with people you intend to give access to.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

•Supabase: Database and authentication
•Vercel: App hosting and deployment
•PayMongo: Payment processing
•PostHog: Anonymous usage analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

•Access the personal data we hold about you
•Request correction of inaccurate data
•Request deletion of your account and data
•Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and content will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

Ugnayan is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Imus City, Cavite.
